Over the years, Union Mutual has maintained the attitude that started the company in 1938 – to protect each other. Then, this meant even in poor economic times when national insurance companies either stopped writing or completely left the state. Today, Union Mutual has been and still is here for all Oklahomans. Known for our Actual Cash Value policies to cover the customer who doesn't plan to rebuild their property if destroyed, we also now offer competitive replacement cost policy options on some policy forms (HO-2 Broad, HO-3 Special, & FO-3 Special). Union Mutual is today's answer to your insurance needs.

Farm Properties

Our Farm Property program is designed for those that may have trouble securing coverage due to prior claims or the condition of the property. This may be for non-owner-occupied houses on the farm such as where a farm employee or tenant lives in the farm house, or where the owner only occupies the dwelling on a part time or seasonal basis. We can also insure your property when you don’t have a dwelling, but need insurance for a barn, equipment or liability for the farm, or a combination of any of these.

Farm Owners

Covering small and medium farms, our Farm Owners policies are great for covering farm exposures such as the main dwelling, barns, tractors, implements, welders, and even simple hand tools. Besides farming equipment, you can also insure your livestock against animal collision and Liability. The FO-2 Broad form policy is a 17 named peril ACV policy. The FO-3 Special form policy covers property under Coverage A “Dwelling” and B “Other Structures” against direct physical loss, unless the loss is excluded, up to the coverage limit on Replacement Cost terms. The Coverage C ”Personal Property” and Roof Surfacing Material are covered under ACV cost terms.

Home Owners

We offer homeowner’s two policy options: HO-2 Broad form and HO-3 Special form. The Broad form offers protection against 17 named perils, while the Special offers protection against direct physical loss, unless excluded . Both are Replacement Cost policies for Coverage A “Dwelling” and B “Other Structures” up to the Coverage limit., The Special does have the option of buying replacement cost coverage on your Coverage C “Personal Property”, plus increases the coverage amount from 50% of Coverage A to 70%. The roof surfacing material is still settled on an ACV basis.

Home Property

Actual Cash Value coverage on rental property or for those that do not qualify for our Homeowners or Mobile Homeowners programs due to being seasonal or prior claims or condition of the property. Each tailored to the policy holder, the applicant selects the needed coverage, such as Contents and/or Liability. This policy type is offered in both Basic and Broad form named peril coverage.

Mobile Homes

The Mobile Home Program is a package for people who live in mobile or manufactured homes. It is a Broad form policy with 17 named perils listed in the policy.

This is an ACV (Actual Cash Value) policy type for mobile or manufactured homes that were built after 1980. We can write mobile or manufactured homes on any of our policy forms except the Special HO-3 or FO-3 forms.

Tenant Owners

Our Tenant Owners program covers the personal property of those who rent their residence against 17 named broad form perils, such as fire and theft. We can write these policies on a traditional dwelling, an apartment complex or even a mobile home.
